(1) Vendor needs to provide configuration management software. – Providing, configuring, and installing a configuration management software system with a ticket management module.– Improve information accuracy.– Identify who is responsible for information, what it describes, where it is located, and what it is related to, enabling faster, better business decisions.– Provide automated classification to enforce information governance, policies and controls.– Provide contextual search, retrieval, viewing, and printing of documents and records to increase productivity and efficiency.– Ensure through change management and change effects analysis that all affected information is considered when planning and managing changes.– Fully integrate with configuration management and asset tracking processes including but not limited to the ability to link tickets historical and existing tickets, assets and change requests, systems, locations, users and documents.– Provide users with the ability to customize dashboards for quick access and reference.– Provide a facility for documents to be requisitioned by internal and external parties.– Track certificate and support agreements, ensuring that users are notified of upcoming expirations or terminations.– Allow peer–to–peer relationships between physical items.– Provide a searching capability that allows information to be retrieved using simple Google–like searches.– Track the installation and progress of the four segments of the Positive Train Control (PTC) system currently being installed on our equipment and across the property.– Track the installation and progress of assets outside of PTC.– Capture requirements in such a way that they can be linked to a functional breakdown of the Infrastructure Asset.– Create lists of Configuration Items (CIs). These may be documents, complex spatial data or physical assets.– Import CIs from supplier systems.– Enable views of historic, actual, planned and released baselines.– Create customizable reports for API automation created tickets separately from user created tickets.(2) Pre–bid meeting will be held on July 9, 2026. (3) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 21, 2026.
