The description of services intended for purchase from a Single Source is posted in accordance with section 287.057(3)(c), Florida Statutes and will be posted for a minimum of 7 business days. This is a Notice for a Sole Source Source designation for Clay County Board of County Commissioners. Commodity or Service Required: DS300 Poll Place Scanner and Tabulator with Internal Backup Battery, Paper Roll, and One (1) Standard 4GB Memory Device. Model DS950 High-Speed Scanner and Tabulator with Steel Table, Start-up Kit, Dust Cover, Reports Printer, Battery Backup, USB Cable, and Two (2) Standard 8GB Memory Devices. Justification for Single/Sole Source Acquisition: Purchasing the ES&S Voting Equipment and ElectionWare Software will accomplish the most cost-effective solution for maintaining and upgrading the Clay County’s Supervisor of Elections voting system because it will permit the continued use of the existing DS850 equipment, and will provide standardization. Recommended Procurement Approach: For the reason stated above, Clay County Purchasing Department intends to utilize the Sole Source Procurement method to contract with Election Systems & Software, LLC for supplying the above.
