Stainless Steel Dump Body and Accessories Bid

General work description: Supply and Install (1) Galion Model 133USD-09 Stainless Steel Dump Body (or equivalent), and accessories on Owner supplied Chevrolet Silverado MD 4WD Reg Cab 6500 HD Series Work Truck. The City of Edgewood ordered the Chevrolet Silverado cab and chassis on January 31, 2022. The City has been provided an estimated date to expect delivery of the cab and chassis approximately six (6) months after date of order (or around the beginning of August). Please note, due to current supply chain issues brought about by the COVID pandemic, the cab and chassis may or may not be delivered to the City in the time-frame provided by the dealership. However, once bids for the dump body are open, the City intends to award the bid and provide a Purchase Order to the successful bidder within 30 days. All perspective bidders shall agree to honor their bid price as provided by the bid award and Purchase Order until the cab and chassis arrives for dump body and accessory installation. The successful bidder agrees to take reasonable steps to secure all items outlined in this bid so the items are available for installation upon delivery of the cab and chassis.
