Description
The City of Richmond (City) is seeking a qualified consultant or consulting firm (Contractor) with prior experience in sustainability, energy or climate planning and experience in community engagement with community planning processes to assist in developing the City’s Sustainability Plan (Plan). The Plan is funded by the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program. The EECBG provides grants to U.S. local governments, states, territories, and Indian tribes, to fund projects that reduce energy use and fossil fuel emissions, and that improve in energy efficiency. The City of Richmond’s total EECBG allocation is $2,106,200. The City’s budget for this project is capped at $150,000.
