FACILITY RENOVATION AND MAINTENANCE JOB ORDER CONTRACT (“JOC”)

General description: The Contract(s), if any, awarded as a result of this solicitation will be Job Order Contract(s). A Job Order Contract is a method of procurement involving an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity “Master” Contract that is established for a set period of time and with a set maximum value. After award of the “Master” JOC, VTA may, based on agency needs and at its sole discretion, award an ongoing series of individual JOC Task Orders pursuant to which the Successful Bidder(s) may perform maintenance, repair and minor construction of public works. A JOC allows VTA to accomplish multiple individual projects and/or tasks under a single, competitive solicitation. Contractor(s) will undertake the Work pursuant to individual Task Orders issued by VTA for repair, renovation, demolition and maintenance related construction tasks at existing operational administrative and maintenance facilities and related structures within the VTA infrastructure.
