Drain Clearing- Cleaning and Maintenance for Solid Waste Facilities

Solid Waste Management Division (SWMD) is requesting a vendor to clear debris within the leachate and stormwater drains at the Seminole County Central Transfer Station as well as the Seminole County Landfill. Central Transfer Station: 1950 SR 419, Longwood FL 32750 Seminole County Landfill: 1930 E Osceola Road Geneva, FL 32732. Vendor will need the ability to jet and vacuum the drains that range from 2-8 inches in diameter. Manhole covers and lift stations will also require jetting and vacuum services at both locations. Lift station pumps, rails and electrical panels are required to be serviced quarterly. Services include “ragging” the pumps and inspecting for defects, also inspect the rails for proper alignment, check fuses of the electrical panels, alarms, and safety lights. Inspect and test floats within the LS for functionality. A report will be required of the findings. Also would like to be able to put a camera down drains or pipes if obstructed. Vendor is responsible for the disposal of waste debris and liquid collected from both sites. Any additional work that is required of any of the lift stations or drains shall be brought to the attention of SWMD so that a work order can be processed.
