Security Services for the Ernie Lee Magaha Government Building

Unarmed security services at the Ernie Lee Magaha Government Building located at 221 Palafox Place, Pensacola, Florida 32502. The selected contractor will provide two unarmed officers scheduled in the following staggered shifts to ensure coverage during the hours the building is open Monday through Friday: one officer scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and the second officer from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Coverage during evening Board of County Commissioners meetings typically held the first Thursday of the month will be required after hours and for other evening meetings as needed. Additionally, from January through February, Saturday hours may be required for Homestead Exemption season. Security officers will be required to open and close the building each day, operate metal detector equipment, and other general security duties as assigned by the County and approved by the contractor.
