Justice Service Building HVAC Upgrade Design Services

Washington County Facilities & Park Services is soliciting proposals from qualified A&E firms to provide mechanical, electrical, architectural, structural, cost estimating, and design services for the upgrade and replacement of select equipment in the HVAC system and all HVAC controls for the Justice Services Building (JSB). The controls project shall replace the entire existing control system with a complete stand-alone DDC control system per Washington County standards. The HVAC replacement project will consist of the replacement of the existing radiators with above ceiling VAV/VAF boxes with heating/chilled water coils. The intent of this request for proposals is to obtain the best qualified and responsible A&E firm to provide design services with a comprehensive price for design and consultant services required to complete the necessary work related to the HVAC system upgrades and replacement of the controls system. The proposal should include services for design, bidding, and contract administration as outlined in the scope section of this document. The design firm will develop the appropriate drawings and specifications for specific scopes of work that will meet the criteria from both a contractual and a bidding perspective under the County's construction delivery method (Design-Bid-Build).
