Description
Volusia County is seeking the services of a State of Florida Certified General or Building Contractor to provide engineering, permitting and construction services for building renovations for Flood Mitigation at the Volusia County City Island Library, 105 East Magnolia Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida per the attached Construction Documents (plans and specifications). Work is generally described to include, but is not limited to, engineering, cast-in-place concrete, structural steel bracing, permanent glass flood barrier storefront entrances, pedestrian flood doors and frames, finish hardware, automatic push button ADA entrances, power and communication to doors, gypsum board, cement plaster, flooring, exterior painting, interior painting, joint sealants and epoxy water proofing. Work also includes demolition. Haul off, transport to landfill and tipping fees for demolition debris are by contractor.
