(1) Vendor needs to provide Wi–Fi survey and wireless assessment services to the government authority located in Richmond, VA.• The Agency is seeking to procure professional Wi–Fi Survey and Wireless Assessment services to evaluate existing wireless coverage, performance, interference, and infrastructure conditions.• The assessment will support future wireless optimization, operational reliability, passenger connectivity, and long–term infrastructure planning– Wireless Site Survey & Assessment• Vendor shall perform predictive, passive, and active wireless surveys throughout designated airport facilities and operational areas• Vendor shall assess existing wireless coverage, signal quality, roaming capability, interference, and infrastructure conditions• Vendor shall provide all labor, software, testing equipment, transportation, and materials necessary to perform the services• All services shall be coordinated in advance with Commission staff• Work shall be performed during Commission business hours (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) unless otherwise approved– Technical Performance Requirements– Vendor shall evaluate and document wireless performance conditions including, at minimum:• Signal Strength validation for passenger and operational areas• Signal–to–Noise Ratio analysis and interference identification• Capacity and client density analysis in high–occupancy environments• Wireless roaming and handoff testing for mobile operational users• Identification of dead zones, weak coverage areas, and performance deficiencies– Deliverables– Vendor shall provide a comprehensive final report that includes, at minimum:• Wireless heat maps for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz coverage (and 6 GHz if applicable)• Documentation of identified coverage deficiencies and interference sources• Recommended wireless access point locations and infrastructure improvements• Photos and notes identifying mounting locations, cabling pathways, and power availability• Bill of Materials (BOM) identifying recommended hardware and infrastructure components• Executive summary of findings and prioritized recommendations(2) The contract period will be for one year.
