Corrections Padded Cells

The County of Volusia Division of Corrections is seeking to have detention grade safety padding installed in six (6) current cells with four (4) of the cells being located at 1300 red John Dr, Daytona Beach FL 32124 and two (2) of the cells being located at 1354 Indian Lake Rd, Daytona Beach FL 32124. These two facilities are separated by an access road on the same property. The vendor is to furnish, deliver, and install the padding on all surfaces within the cell and on the door itself. Please note that the doors are sliding doors and may require thinner padding. All fixtures including plumbing fixtures will be removed by County staff prior to installation. Some cells will have concrete casted benches that will require padding over it. The approximate size of the cells are 7’2” x 10’9” x 8’9” (Qty 4) and 7’3”x10’8”x7’11” (Qty 2). Those interested in bidding are responsible for verifying measurements as part of the bid process. County is not responsible for measurements of cells used for bid calculations.
