Tasks will include the following:</p><ul><li><div class=\"list-item-child\">Prepare initial studies,</div><ul><li><div class=\"list-item-child\">Hydraulic evaluation and pipeline sizing</div></li><li><div class=\"list-item-child\">Demand analysis and forecasting</div></li><li><div class=\"list-item-child\">Structural and process assessments</div></li><li><div class=\"list-item-child\">Storage reservoir sizing</div></li></ul></li><li><div class=\"list-item-child\">Preparation of plans, specifications and bid documents associated with various design projects</div><ul><li><div class=\"list-item-child\">Wells</div></li><li><div class=\"list-item-child\">Reservoir</div></li><li><div class=\"list-item-child\">Booster Stations</div></li><li><div class=\"list-item-child\">Ditch conversion to pipeline</div></li><li><div class=\"list-item-child\">Treatment Plant</div></li><li><div class=\"list-item-child\">Sediment Removal</div></li></ul></li><li><div class=\"list-item-child\">Bid and Construction Phase Services (any of the design projects mentioned above)</div></li></ul><p>The work will including the following engineering disciplines - Electrical, Civil, Geotechnical, hydrogeological, Instrumentation and Control (I&amp;C), Mechanical, Environmental, and Structural. The consultant serves as the design engineer, reference, and resource pertaining to questions regarding water system planning principles, polices, and practices of AWWA, District Standards and State of California Department of Water Resources Division of Drinking Water.</p><p>The anticipated number of firms to be selected is a total of three with renewable agreements over a three year period plus two optional one-year renewals for a possible length up to five years. Selected firms will be asked to provide detailed scope of work and fee estimate for each requested project. Firms will either competitively compete for work or be sole sourced based on fee or ability to deliver services on the District's timeframe.</p><p>The services and projects expected for the next five years is identified in the scope of services.</p>",
