(REBID) Advanced Dilemma Zone and Left Turn Phasing Signal Modification Project at Seven Locations

The Department of Public Works is advertising for bids to construct the Installation of Advanced Dilemma Zone And Left Turn Phasing Signal Modification Project at Seven (7) Locations. This project is funded by State Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) grant funds. Project ID No. HSIPL 5055 (190) The work to be done consists of the upgrade of seven (7) existing traffic signals for advanced dilemma zone detection and left turn phasing. This shall include installation of dilemma zone detection systems, traffic signal poles; foundations; signal heads; signal controller and cabinet; conduit; pull boxes; conductors; accessible pedestrian signals; traffic signing; removal and reconstruction of ADA access ramps; concrete sidewalk and all additional work necessary to properly construct the proposed improvements, in accordance with the contract documents. The project also includes roadway improvements at the intersection of Dale Avenue and Orange Avenue. The goal of this project is to provide for the safe and efficient movement of vehicle and pedestrians at the project intersections.
