Bid No. 26-18 - Kauffman Ave. / Dayton Yellow Springs Rd. Concrete Repairs

This project includes concrete pavement repair work along Kauffman Ave. from Gilbert Ave. to the end of the existing concrete pavement, approximately 600 ft. south of Rice Blvd. Some repairs are also planned for the concrete portion of Dayton Yellow Springs, east of the Kauffman and Dayton Yellow Springs Intersection. There are approximately 62 areas planned for concrete pavement repair/replacement. The repair areas vary in size. The Contractor shall complete the work in accordance with the current Fairborn and Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Construction and Material Specifications, applicable ODOT standards and specifications, and the project requirements included in the solicitation. Photos of each identified repair location, along with approximate dimensions of the repair areas, are included with the bid documents for reference. The dimensions shown are approximate and the photos are to be used for reference only. Where existing pavement markings are disturbed or removed as a result of the concrete pavement repairs, the Contractor shall replace the pavement markings with epoxy striping to match the existing markings. The project shall be completed no later than May 31st, 2027.
