(1) Vendor needs to provide zoning ordinance rewrite services to the government authority located in Oak Ridge, TN.– Zoning ordinance must be robust enough to address the emerging issues facing the urban environment in the present and near future, but simple enough to be easily managed, maintained, and enforced by the planning and development staff of a small city.– Implement the concepts championed by the comprehensive plan.– Streamline consistency of the document’s provisions for manageable application.– Improve accessibility for unambiguous understanding.– Support both economic diversification and housing at all economic levels.– Evaluate and recommend the appropriate use of both traditional euclidean zoning and alternative zoning approaches based on the character, development patterns, and planning objectives of different areas within the community.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than July 17,2026.
