EXTRA-72427 - USA (Omaha, Nebraska) - Grounds Maintenance Service for Parks - Deadline July 9,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide grounds maintenance service for parks to the government authority located in Omaha, NE. – This is a grounds maintenance contract to provide mowing of large areas of park land utilizing a tractor and 12’ (minimum) pull behind, finish mower deck on an hourly basis. – Areas included are to be mowed on a schedule approximately every 10 days. – Contractor shall be expected to coordinate mowing with city crews and establish a workflow that allows agency crews to mow alongside or just prior to contractor to perform the “cut in” work. – The grass shall be mowed as scheduled and approved by the agency. The Contractor shall mow as close to all permanent structures as is reasonably possible and will adjust mowing deck as needed to match the cut in crew and thereby maintain a uniform height equivalent to that of the surrounding mowed areas. – In general, the grass shall be mowed on a 10–day (or less) mowing schedule when it exceeds 5 inches in height and shall be mowed to a height of 3 to 3 1/2 inches.– All damage done to sod, trees or plantings during mowing shall be repaired by the Contractor by replacement of same or to the satisfaction of the CM. – The Contractor shall notify the CM immediately in the case of damaging any agency owned property or equipment. Any damage done by the Contractor or associated personnel to agency property shall require the Contractor to replace and/or pay for the affected property. (2) The contract period will be for one year.
