SMDOT Fleet Vehicle Upfitting Services

The Santa Monica Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for upfitting of non-revenue fleet vehicles. These vehicles include pool vehicles, service trucks and other non-revenue light and medium duty vehicles that may require additional equipment to adequately perform their assigned function. Bidders will provide vehicle upfitting, and light paint work. Must be able to install specialized amber/emergency lighting systems, toolboxes, fluid storage tanks, low voltage electric dispensing pumps, aluminum utility beds, push bumpers, air compressors, aluminum liftgates, and custom metal/plastic/wood fabrication. Installation of on-board computers, antennas, routers, and radio systems. Vendor shall provide vehicle cleaning and detailing services for vehicles on an as needed basis and after any upfitting.
