(1) Vendor needs to provide library book collections and processing services to the government authority located in NC.• Provide library book collections, processing services, cataloging records, collection development support, relocation/relabeling services, and annual library materials purchasing support• Development of a new opening–day library collection for agency for the 2027–2028 school year.• Evaluation, weeding support, relabeling, boxing, moving, processing, and updating of the existing Topsail Middle School collection as the school transitions to agency for the 2027–2028 school year• Proposals should clearly explain the recommended collection size, collection development approach, processing services, implementation timeline, and all related costs• Provide collection development consultation and curated title lists by grade span, genre, format, reading level, interest level, subject area, and student need.• Develop a balanced collection that includes picture books, beginning readers, chapter books, nonfiction, graphic novels, biographies, reference/support materials as appropriate, bilingual or multilingual resources as requested, and other high–interest materials appropriate for elementary students• Support review and revision of proposed lists by agency leadership, media coordinators, school staff, and/or an advisory review team prior to final order placement(2) The contract period will be for one year.
