The purpose of this notice is to design, procure, and install one (1) floating dock in Bass Lake at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, providing a safe, stable, and accessible structure for tying up and launching canoes, kayaks, and other self–propelled watercraft.Market Research and Authority StatementTHIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) OR PROPOSAL. This announcementdoes not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Government. It is for a potential nonappropriated fund (NAF) purchase. NAF purchases do not involve federal tax dollars, and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) rules do not apply.These funds are generated by the military community through the sale of goods and services and the collection of fees and charges for participation in military community programs.A solicitation for this requirement does not currently exist.
