On-Call Laboratory Testing for Planning and Public Works

Pierce County (hereafter known as 'the County') is seeking proposals for on-call laboratory services to support the County’s compliance with a variety of federal and state regulatory requirements, including the Washington State Waste Discharge and National Pollutant Discharge and Elimination System (NPDES) permit; Industrial Pretreatment Program , Washington State Department of Health Drinking Water Rules ; MS4 NPDES Permit , Watershed health assessment ; Illicit Discharge, Detection, and Elimination (IDDE) work; and to support other related County activities, including: Wastewater treatment plant(s): NPDES permit compliance, biosolid management, process control, treatment system performance evaluation, groundwater monitoring, and industrial wastewater discharge monitoring Drinking water system(s) and water right wells source water quality monitoring and compliance monitoring MS4 NPDES permit, construction stormwater permit, Industrial stormwater general permit compliance, and receiving water stream monitoring including taxonomic analysis of benthic macroinvertebrates. Other sites or activities as needed.
