Pre-Employment Law Enforcement Background Investigation Services

The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office, Professional Standards Bureau is seeking proposals from qualified vendor(s) to provide comprehensive Pre-Employment Law Enforcement Background Investigation Services. The selected vendor(s) will be responsible for conducting thorough background investigations for peace officer candidates to ensure they meet all current and necessary California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) qualifications. The target start date for the proposed services is July 1, 2026 subject to negotiation of a final agreement.
