DISPOS-9441 - USA (Austin, Texas) - Pesticide Disposal Events Service - Deadline August 17,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide pesticide disposal events service to the government authority located in Austin, TX.– Provide pesticide disposal events in coordination with agency, where participants can drop off unwanted pesticides, free of charge, for proper disposal– Shall provide adequate staff to collect, package, and transport pesticide waste anywhere from 10,000 to 300,000 pounds from 10 to 200 participants in a single day event– In calendar years 2024 and 2025, event size ranged from 73,500 to 178,500 pounds of waste collected from between 70 – 110 participants per event– Review designated collection sites selected by agency to ensure usability and develop a site plan for each event with adequate staffing and equipment– Shall have an emergency action plan in place in case an accident or inclement weather occur; responses are required within 48 hours of request.– Shall unload all acceptable waste from participant’s vehicles.– Chemists and technicians shall unload the vehicles and place the waste onto polyurethane tarps or in chemical resistant containers with the collection zone– The chemists shall also question drivers of the vehicles to ascertain the contents of the wastes– Shall ensure no environmental contamination occurs(2) The contract period will be for one year.
