Professional Construction Management/General Contracting Services for the International Speedway Blvd and Silver Beach Ave Beach Ramp Improvements

The Volusia County Coastal Division is undertaking improvements to the International Speedway Boulevard (ISB) and Silver Beach Avenue (SBA) Vehicular Beach Ramps. The project limits include the ISB right of way from Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) maintained South Atlantic Avenue east to the beach and the SBA right of way from South Atlantic Avenue east to the beach in Daytona Beach, Florida. This ISB beach ramp is the busiest beach access ramp in Volusia County. It is the intention of this project to compliment the East ISB Improvements that the City of Daytona Beach and FDOT are undertaking. Volusia County approved a Task Assignment with Zev Cohen & Associates in 2020 to design and permit improvements to the existing beach ramps. These improvements include updating the hardscaping, landscaping, lighting, utilities, and restroom buildings. At this time, Zev Cohen & Associates has completed 90% plans. The selected Contractor will review the existing plans, provide value engineering recommendations, prepare a schedule of values, prepare a construction schedule, and construct each beach ramp separately.
