Description
The purpose of this request for statement of qualifications (RSQ) is to select the most highly qualified firm(s) to provide the requested services. It is anticipated that one (1) firm will be awarded a contract to provide the necessary Part A, Pre-Construction Phase Services Contract and Part B, Construction Phase Services Contract, for a period of eighteen (18) months or until project completion, whichever occurs later, exercisable at the option of the County. All renewals will be contingent upon mutual and written Contract and, when applicable, approval of County Council. SCOPE OF SERVICE The S. James Foxman Justice Center was constructed in 1989 and comprises a total area of approximately 59,586 square feet. The three-story structure consists of structural steel columns and girders, a concrete floor system, and steel and wood-framed walls with a brick façade. The purpose of this project is the construction of a new exterior façade incorporating a new metal cladding system and associated components and will be fully coordinated with the previously contracted design scope for the replacement of windows and curtain wall systems. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS The work is to be performed outside of normal business hours, which are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Thus, work can only be done evenings, weekends, and court observed holidays.
