(1) Vendor needs to provide athletic meals and catering services for state student–athletes, coaches, staff and prospective student–athletes participating in recruiting activities to the government authority located in Sacramento, CA.– The selected Contractor shall provide high–quality, nutritionally balanced meals and catering services to support the health, wellness, performance, and recovery needs of athletes. Services may include team meals, catered events, recruiting meals, boxed meals, travel meals, post–game recovery meals, and other food service needs as requested by the University. The University seeks a flexible and responsive provider capable of accommodating varying team schedules, game schedules, training demands, dietary requirements, and special events– Designate a primary account representative and an emergency contact available throughout the contract term.– Coordinate meal planning and scheduling with Athletics staff and designated University representatives– Team Lunch Examples may include:• Grilled chicken, turkey, fish, or vegetarian entrée• Rice, pasta, or whole–grain side dishes• Fresh vegetables and salads• Fruit selections• Hydration beverages– Team Dinner Examples may include:• Lean protein entrée• Complex carbohydrate side dishes• Seasonal vegetables• Fresh salad options• Dessert selections• Hydration beverages(2) All question must be submitted no later than July 24, 2026.
