On-Call Floodplain and Erosion Analysis Services-RFQ

Notice is hereby given that the City of Tucson, hereinafter referred to as "COT", is conducting a competitive ONE-STEP process to retain up to TWO (2) Consultants to provide on-call professional services for floodplain and erosion vulnerability analysis for the City of Tucson Water Department. Individual job orders should not exceed one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) unless a waiver is requested of and granted by the Director of Procurement. The estimated budget for the initial one-year term is one hundred thousand ($100,000.00) dollars. The term of this contract will be one year with TWO (2) potential two-year renewal options. However, services will be requested on an as-needed, if-needed basis and the resultant contract is neither exclusive nor a commitment or guarantee by the City of Tucson that the Contractor’s services will be required. The City of Tucson intends to establish a contract for professional design services for On-Call Floodplain Services and Erosion Analysis for the Tucson Water Department. All work shall be performed under the supervision of a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.). The resulting contract will consist of Flood Plain/Erosion Vulnerability Analysis on sites located throughout the Tucson Metropolitan area. The Consultant will be used only as needed by the City. The work to be performed under this contract is intended to supplement the City’s normal on-going workload. All of the projects have not been identified at this time, however, all of the work completed under this Contract will include some or all of the following duties: hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, assessment of the impact of wells, boosters, reservoirs, etc. on flood/erosion at project sites and assessment of the vulnerability of site pads to flooding and erosion on an as needed basis.
