Description
Project Goals Project Deliverables Lee College is a public two-year higher education institution in Baytown and located in southeast Harris County, Texas. Lee College's main campus occupies 40 acres near downtown Baytown and has extension campuses throughout its service area. The school has an enrollment of over 9,000 total students, with approximately 5,800 of them enrolled full-time in more than 60 academic, technical education, and non-credit continuing education programs. Lee College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). With the main campus and McNair Center located in Baytown, Texas, and a satellite center in nearby Liberty, the College serves a geographic area of more than 220,000 residents that includes the school systems of Goose Creek, Anahuac, Barbers Hill, Baytown Christian Academy, Crosby, Dayton, Devers, East Chambers, Hardin, Hardin-Jefferson, Huffman, Hull-Daisetta, Kountze, Liberty and West Hardin. The Lee College Center for Workforce and Community Development (CWCD) also offers a variety of non-credit programs, courses and classes for individuals who are on a journey to professional and business success or who want to enhance the quality of their personal lives by: learning new skills, acquiring knowledge that is useful in the workforce or their daily lives, increasing their physical fitness level, developing a new hobby or just having fun. Dedicated to fulfilling the non-credit, continuing educational needs of our community, and working toward serving the diverse population of nontraditional students, the CWCD is a strong force in community development. In addition to providing open enrollment industrial crafts training, the CWCD provides customized contract training for select corporate clients. Any award made as the result of a Lee College-issued competitive solicitation will remain in effect for one year from the date of award. The Lee College District may, at its sole discretion, request an extension of the contract for a period of four (4) additional years, twelve (12) months at a time. Extension of any contract is contingent upon satisfactory service and will require written authorization by both parties. LC reserves the right to award contracts to multiple vendors. The decision to award multiple contracts, award only one contract, or to make no awards rests solely with LC. LC may make multiple awards; this fact should be taken into consideration by each vendor.
