EXTRA-73295 - USA (Laconia, New Hampshire) - Land Use and Development Code Update Services - Deadline August 7,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide land use and development code update services to the government authority located in Laconia, NH.– Develop a modern, comprehensive community development code that transforms the vision, goals, and recommendations of forward together into a clear and effective regulatory framework.– Support housing choice and expand opportunities for residents of varying ages, incomes, and household types.– Encourage economic development, reinvestment, and long–term economic resilience.– Facilitate redevelopment, adaptive reuse, and strategic infill development in appropriate locations.– Protect and enhance neighborhood character, community identity, and sense of place.– Create a clear, predictable, user–friendly, and legally defensible ordinance that is easily understood by residents, property owners, developers, board members, and city staff.– Develop and implement a public engagement strategy designed to educate, inform, and solicit meaningful input from residents, businesses, property owners, developers, institutions, elected officials, appointed boards, and other stakeholders.– Identify the mapping, GIS, graphic, and visualization tools necessary to support implementation of the community development code.– Community development code preparation.– Consultant innovation and value–added services.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than July 24,2026.(3) The contract period will be for one year.
