MLK CIA ENVIRONMENTAL CLEANUP OF BIDDLE & COOPER STREET LOTS

The MLK CIA is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for environmental remediation and site restoration activities at two contiguous vacant properties located at the intersection of Cooper Street and Biddle Avenue in the City of Jackson, Michigan. The objective of this project is to remove contaminated soil mounds and associated buried debris, mitigate environmental risks, and prepare the subject properties for future redevelopment. The MLK CIA seeks a qualified contractor capable of completing excavation, transportation, disposal, restoration, and related activities in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The project schedules for the two parcels differ. Work associated with Parcel 5-228800000 must be completed by December 14, 2026, while work associated with Parcel 5-2288.2000 will begin in early 2027 and shall be completed in Spring 2027.
