Rebid of RFP for Residential Multi-Family Rental Property Management Services

The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is for the City of West Sacramento (City) to solicit and retain a qualified property management firm to manage properties acquired and rehabilitated with state Homekey Program funds for the next five years. These properties will provide interim or permanent housing options for persons experiencing chronic or at-risk homelessness. The City seeks a single management firm to manage all properties acquired by Project Homekey funds. The selected firm shall serve as the City’s representative when designated. EDH staff shall provide oversight and facilitate the activities of the firm in compliance with governmental agencies and city departments. The selected firm shall provide professional services and expertise related to operating and managing affordable residential multi-family units for persons who are chronic or at-risk-of homelessness, in need of on-going supportive services. The selected Property Management firm will manage properties in compliance with federal and state Project Homekey Program requirements and Fair Housing, Health and Safety codes, and local, state and federal regulations applicable to multi-family residential rental units, financed in whole or part by federal and state funds.
