(1) Vendor needs to provide legal services to the government authority located in Terrell, TX. • Municipal law, governance, and public sector legal services to ensure a seamless transition and continued excellence in legal representation.• Assist the city through the initial transitional phase and provide ongoing legal representation, serving as the city attorney of record.• Providing general municipal counsel, basic legal services, guidance on special projects and advice to the city council.• Draft, review, and/or approve ordinances, resolutions, contracts, agreements, deeds, easements, interlocal agreements, policies, and other legal documents;• Reviewing agendas and materials for Council meetings, anticipating and preparing legal advice on items to be addressed at the Council meetings, and attending Council meetings;• Coordination of third–party counsel representing the City in specialty areas for which the firm cannot or does not provide representation.• Maintain reasonable availability for consultation by phone, email, and/or in–person meetings• Provide all legal services for municipal court, including service as the City’s prosecutor, representing the City in all cases involving violations of municipal ordinances.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 31, 2026 (3) The contract period will be for one year.
