The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms (the “Offeror” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and proposals will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than 'Proposal Submission Date at 'Proposal Submission Time (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Unsealed Request for Proposals (URFP) is to solicit proposals to furnish/provide comprehensive training and capacity-building services for Operation STOP, aimed at addressing the opioid crisis in Newport News, particularly within Black communities. Services include professional development, information dissemination, and wraparound support for community-based organizations. Training must include the following offerings: In-person cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) training 3-hour harm reduction/stigma training In-person 3 -hour Motivational Interviewing workshop Customized practical application training for reaching highest risk Revive training Mental Health First Aid
