Prepare Nexus Study to update the existing Traffic Reduction/Transportation Improvement Fee (“TR/TIF”)

The City is seeking professional services to 'Project Title to support the mobility initiatives identified in the 2015 General Plan http://www.cityofpasadena.net/GeneralPlan/ The update to DOT’s TR/TIF to be developed from this RFP will review existing City methodology and the methodology of other agencies in the development of transportation impact fees for long-range infrastructure improvements in the City; utilize projections in the City’s TransCAD 7.0 Travel Demand Model to determine a future development’s fair share of future facilities costs; research future developments and future transportation needs from current transportation studies and reports; develop a comprehensive report that documents the City’s future transportation facility needs and cost; and determine the level of fees that may be imposed on future developments to pay their fair share cost of future transportation infrastructure improvements. The City has estimated a budget of $45,000 - $65,000 for this effort.
