Tourism Marketing Services

The City of Benicia (“City”) is requesting proposals from qualified professionals/firms to provide tourism marketing services as part of the ongoing implementation of its adopted Strategic Tourism Marketing Plan (“Plan”). The Plan is available to view at www.ci.benicia.ca.us/ed The website, www.VisitBenicia.org , reinforces that brand and is intended to provide all necessary information for visitors to plan their visits to Benicia. Visit Benicia is active on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, as well as newsletters and blogs. Advertising is placed with Diablo , Sunset , VIA or Sacramento magazines or other local publications, and there is one digital readerboard on I-680 within Benicia city limits. Visitor-oriented signage has been placed downtown and on major arteries in town. It is to be updated in the near future. Expanded marketing activity will reinforce the brand and carry the message to more target households within and outside Benicia. There will be an optional pre-submittal meeting to which all interested parties are invited, including members of the public. The meeting will be on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at 1:30 P.M. - 3:30 P.M., at the Benicia City Hall Commission Room, 250 East L Street.
