The Edmonton Catholic Separate School Division (ECSD) entered into a purchase agreement for Learning Management System (D2L). ECSD has been utilizing this program for approx.. 15 years, this sole source is the renewal period from September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026. $147,839.58. This requires software and support to be provided 24/7/365 which D2L does without the hiring of additional tech support. Many of the components, such as specific communication and assessments tools, are unique to D2L and cannot be easily transferred to a different Learning Management System.
