Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre RV Park Improvements

The Town of Queen Creek is seeking bids from qualified Contractors for Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre RV Park Improvements, CIP No. HP301/HP302, which includes adding an additional 21 RV stalls to the existing RV lot and installing two (2) new RV dump stations at the north end of the RV lot. Both improvements will provide renters, and eventually, the general public with additional amenities to fill the demands of the site. Construction activities associated with Project HP301 for the RV stall expansion includes procurement and installation of one (1) new, 800A 120/240volt, 1Ø distribution board, one (1) new 167 kVA, 480V-120/240V transformer with one (1) new 400A service disconnect switch, trenching, backfill and compaction for the installation of underground conduit and potable water. Concrete housekeeping pads for the installation of ten (10) new double-sided RV pedestals, one (1) new single-sided RV pedestal and for the new 800A distribution board, 167 kVA transformer and 400A service disconnect stand are also included in this scope. Four (4) new protective bollards, per MAG Standard Detail 140, Type 1 will be installed around the new electrical distribution and around each new RV pedestal. Project HP302 is for the installation of the new RV dump stations consists of concrete forming and pouring of two (2) new, curbed dump sumps, trenching, backfill and compaction for the installation of underground conduit, potable water and sewer, including one (1) new, 750-gallon grease interceptor. This scope also includes procurement and installation of two (2) new, SaniStar Kiosks, one for each RV Dump Station as well as installation of all necessary electrical to operate the stations per the plan set and one (1) new bollard per station. It will be the CONTRACTOR’s responsibility to field verify all utility locations and to coordinate in a timely manner with the pertinent utility companies so that any obstructing utility installation may be adjusted without delay to the CONTRACTOR’s project schedule.
