Caltrain Access & Bay Trail Gap Closure Project

General work description: The base bid work consists of removals, utility adjustment, paving, concrete sidewalk, ramps, curbs and gutters, signing and striping, planting and irrigation, and signal modification. Additive alternate no. 1 work consists of removals, paving, concrete sidewalk, ramp, curbs and gutters, and planting and irrigation. Additive alternate no. 2 work consists of relocating streetlighting. Additive alternate no. 3 work consists of removals, utility adjustment, paving, concrete driveway, curbs and gutters, striping, and planting and irrigation. All work is located at Grand Avenue at East Grand Avenue from Poletti Way to Gateway Boulevard, South San Francisco, CA. A detailed scope of work is included in the bid documents. The Contractor shall be responsible to furnish all labor, material, tools, equipment, incidentals and services necessary to complete all the work as specified and in accordance with the plans and specifications for the CALTRAIN ACCESS AND BAY TRAIL GAP CLOSURE, PROJECT NO. ST2003, BID NO. 2668. At the time of contract award, the successful Bidder must be legally entitled to perform contracts requiring a Class A Contractor's license. Any Bidder or contractor not so licensed shall be subject to all penalties imposed by law including, but not limited to, any appropriate disciplinary action by the Contractors' State License Board.
