Vendor needs to provide self–advocates service in leadership to the government authority located in Olympia, WA. – to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) build leadership skills, speak up about issues that matter, and take part in public policy.– The Apparently Successful Contractor will serve as the primary technical assistance provider and operational support partner to the Self Advocates in Leadership (SAIL) program.– Contractor will not direct SAIL’s priorities or advocacy positions; instead, the Contractor will ensure that SAIL members, leaders, and committees have the tools, access, coordination, and support necessary to accomplish the objectives and activities.• Providing technical assistance to the SAIL staff, Leadership Team, members, and committees so they can carry out leadership development, policy work, community engagement, and legislative advocacy.• Ensuring accessibility and accommodations for all SAIL activities, including meetings, communications, events, and legislative participation.• Coordinating and facilitating program operations so SAIL can meet the objectives and timelines established in the Scope of Work.• Supporting SAIL’s Administrative Director and Policy Director by helping organize activities, prepare materials, manage logistics, and maintain consistent communication with members and partners.• Maintaining SAIL’s independence by supporting member driven decision making and ensuring that program activities reflect the priorities identified by self advocates.• Providing subject matter and process expertise related to legislative advocacy, public policy, community outreach, and disability rights, while ensuring that SAIL members remain the primary voices and leaders in all public facing work.
