EOD Large Panel Digital X-RAY System

The City of Tampa Police Department is seeking to procure a large-panel digital X-ray system to enhance the Bomb Squad’s operational capabilities in detecting and assessing potential explosive threats. This advanced imaging system will improve the Department’s ability to respond to soft targets, crowded places, special events, mass gatherings, and CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive) incidents. The new system will provide greater imaging coverage and resolution, enabling the safe and efficient inspection of large vehicles, suspicious packages, and improvised explosive devices. The equipment will support coordinated responses with Bomb, SWAT, and other specialized units, ensuring readiness for both routine operations and critical incidents.
