26-27MC Vehicle and Vessel Towing and Storage Services

The City of Sarasota is soliciting sealed bids from qualified and experienced towing contractors to provide Vehicle and Vessel Towing and Storage Services for the Sarasota Police Department. Services include the removal, towing, storage, and secure handling of vehicles and vessels that are disabled, abandoned, impounded, seized, or otherwise authorized by the Police Department. The selected Contractor will be responsible for providing twenty-four (24) hour, seven (7) day per week service to ensure the prompt clearing of roadways, protection of public safety, and secure storage of vehicles, including evidence vehicles. This is a revenue-generating contract in which the successful bidder shall pay the City an annual fee in exchange for the exclusive right to provide these services.
