Advanced Metering Infrastructure System

PROJECT NAME: Advanced Metering Infrastructure System The utility is seeking proposals for a radio-based Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system to replace its current cell-based metering arrangement. The new system must integrate with the Tyler Munis billing platform and support CMEP file exports compatible with MV-90. It should accommodate both new smart meters and existing assets, including 55 Itron Sentinel and 35 Elster/Honeywell A3 meters, through retrofit kits. The solution must also allow for the future integration of approximately 90 natural gas meters once ERTs are installed. While the utility will handle all field installations, the vendor will provide the head-end system, communications infrastructure, and long-term support services.
