As Needed Temporary Staffing

General work description: This purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to assist the City of Plant City (City) in determining how best to fulfill the objectives described herein. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This RFI does not commit the City or Respondents to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. City operations require as-needed temporary labor for the Utilities Department and the Solid Waste Department. The need for Utilities includes approximately 6 positions and the need for Solid Waste includes approximately 3 positions. These positions are all field positions requiring manual, hands-on labor. The Solid Waste positions include the vendors employees riding on the back of the City’s garbage trucks. To be qualified, a vendor must have an office in Hillsborough County, Florida or Polk County, Florida and not have any objections to their employees riding on the back of the City’s garbage trucks.
