Bristol Park HMGP Grant Management - CEI

Notice is hereby given that the Escambia County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed proposals for assistance with the management of Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP), Federally Funded Subgrant Agreement #H0846; Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Project 4564-031-R (Bristol Park), 4564-032-R (County Wide), 4564-024-R (Sagebrush/ Ranchlands), awarded to Escambia County to acquire and demolish 42 single family residences in the Bristol Park. Ranchlands/ Sagebrush, and County wide areas; and provide engineering and environmental services as necessary to develop conceptual plans, design, permitting of stream restoration, water quality enhancements, natural resources restoration, and wetland enhancement to the Bristol Park, Ranchlands/ Sagebrush and county wide areas. Design and management team shall demonstrate the lead firm and/or sub-consulting firms have the best qualifications to accommodate this scope of work for contract consideration. Along with the HMGP grant program, Escambia County is soliciting consultants to assist the county in administrating the Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Voluntary Home Buyout Program (VHBP) through a Sub-recipient agreement with the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) to ensure proper execution and compliance with Federal, State, and Local rules, regulations, and program intent. All services shall comply with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and DEO guidelines.
