Description
1. The Town of Leesburg received an unsolicited proposal to design and build a building of approximately 17,000 square feet on the Town’s property located at 6-12 Loudoun St. SW, Leesburg, VA. The intended use of the building is to provide a visitor center, public bathrooms, public elevator access to the parking structure, a public park on the roof and terraces and a partial redesign of park space on the adjacent Town property to the west. This project plans to integrate and introduce the south end of the alley project located immediately to the east and to enhance the Loudoun Museum Buildings to the west; 2. The Town plans to continue its evaluation of this proposal; 3. The Town has the option to negotiate an interim and/or comprehensive agreement with the proposer; and 4. The Town will accept for simultaneous consideration, any competing proposals that comply with the PPEA and Town regulations.
