Charlotte County has received and accepted an unsolicited PPEA proposal from Jamerson-Lewis Construction of Lynchburg, Virginia that proposes options for facility improvements at the Bacon District and Phenix Elementary Schools. Charlotte County intends to evaluate this proposal and may negotiate an interim and/or comprehensive agreement with the proposer. Information regarding the proposed projects, the site locations, and the expectations of the proposers regarding their proposal submittals is available from the Charlotte County School Board Office, P.O. Box 790, 250 LeGrande Ave. Suite E, Charlotte Court House, VA 23923, ATTN: Brette Arbogast, Executive Director of Operation. Competing proposals shall be received until Wednesday, March 7, 2020 at 2 p.m. local time in the administrative offices of the Superintendent – Charlotte County Public Schools – 250 LeGrande Avenue, Suite E, Charlotte Court House, Virginia 23923. Questions specific as to the projects under consideration or regarding the Charlotte County Public Private Education Act (PPEA) guideline requirements shall be directed to Brette Arbogast, Executive Director of Operation at arbogastba@ccps.k12.va.us or by calling 434-664-8984.
