HCTP IN PLANT ELECTRIC VALVE OPERATORS ASSESSMENT & REPLACEMENT PROJECT CI 5633

The City of Thousand Oaks (“City”) will receive sealed bids, electronically, for the Hill Canyon Treatment Plant (HCTP) In Plant Electric Operators Assessment and Replacement Project (CI 5633) at the following web address: https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/toaks no later than Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. at which time or thereafter bids will be opened and read aloud. The Work consists of removal of the existing electric motor actuators, installation of City furnished, Contractor Installed valve electric motor actuator assemblies, removal and replacement of flexible power and signal conduits/conductors as directed by the City, start up and testing at various locations within the Hill Canyon Treatment Plant (HCTP). - Contractor shall remove the specified existing motorized valve actuators - Contractor shall install City furnished motorized valve actuators, including the removal of flexible power and signal conduit and conductors as necessary and replacement with flexible conduit, junction boxes and conductors of appropriate length as directed by the City - De-energizing and re-energizing of electrical and signaling circuits shall be done by others, assisted/supervised by the City - Contractor is responsible for startup and testing of the manual and automatic functionality of the motorized valve actuators. The City will provide assistance/supervision of the testing at the various locations within the Hill Canyon Treatment Plant - Contractor is responsible for the performance of all labor, work or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents
