INVITATION TO BID (ITB) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF HERNANDO COUNTY, FLORIDA, IS ACCEPTING BIDS FOR: ITB NO. SOLICITATION # 'Project ID FOR 'Project Title The Board of County Commissioners of Hernando County, Florida, ("the County"), is soliciting Vendors/Contractors that are active in making safety upgrades to existing roadways. The Vendor/Contractor will supply all materials, labor and equipment in order to accomplish the Hayman Rd from Twister Ln to Deepwell Dr Safety Upgrades – SCOP project, as described in the specifications and construction plans showing the proposed improvements in Hernando County, Florida. This project consists of construction the Hayman Rd from Twister Ln to Deepwell Dr widening and resurfacing project. The project will widen the cross section of the paved area of Hayman Rd from 18 feet to 22 feet at the 90-degree curves, to allow for safe vehicle movement from both directions while negotiating these curves. It will be the Vendor/Contactor's responsibility to provide an acceptable MOT plan at the Pre-Construction meeting along with a chart showing the project schedule. The Vendor/Contractor shall comply with all applicable OSHA workplace safety requirements and shall accomplish the work in a manner providing for the safety of their equipment and workers and for the safety of the general public. Vendor/Contractor bids for providing these services will be received and accepted up to Response Submission Date at Response Submission Time . The Board of County Commissioners of Hernando County, Florida, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive informalities and minor irregularities in offers received in accordance with the Bid Documents and the Hernando County Procurement Ordinance.
