Description
The Napa County Health and Human Services Agency – Self Sufficiency Services (SSS) is requesting qualified proposals from experienced providers for the California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs) Home Visiting Program (HVP). The purpose of HVP is to provide voluntary, high-quality, evidence-based, and culturally competent home visiting services to support the positive health, development, and well-being outcomes for pregnant and parenting women, families, and infants born into poverty. HVP aims to expand CalWORKs participant’s educational, economic, and financial capability opportunities to improve the likelihood that they will exit poverty. Providers submitting qualified proposals must have a home visiting model that has demonstrated evidence of effectiveness. Evidence-based home visiting models that are not evaluated by Home Visiting Evidence of Effectiveness (HomVEE) must submit a copy of the model’s evaluation.
