Description

The Bridgeton Board of Education is seeking to appoint a firm who will be responsible for providing substitute teachers, Supervisors, and principals/assistant principals to fill positions on an as-needed basis at the request of the district. The selected firm will be required to meet with the Human Resource Manager to ascertain the district’s specific requirements. Below is a list of the 2024-2025 district staff statistics. Position Number of Staff Teachers/Guidance Counselors 551/29 Principals 8 Assistant Principals 15 Supervisors 12 Media Specialist 3 Company shall be able to track attendance district wide, whether or not a substitute is required. Agency must demonstrate the accuracy of the proposed software. The district utilizes Frontline Absentee Management as its Attendance Tracking System district wide. The proposed software must integrate with the district’s current system. Staff shall be available to train district staff in the use of any newly proposed software or system. Trainers shall be available to accommodate day and evening staff. District staff shall have the capability of reporting absences online or over the phone in a secure technological environment. If the district operates on an alternate summer schedule, the contractor will be notified by the Human Resource office. The district is not responsible for any billing over the specified hours. Any additional time must be authorized by the district. The district reserves the right to seek substitute staffing from an alternative Contractor or to hire a substitute on its own if the agency is not able to fill the districts requests. Teachers shall report 15 minutes before school starts and remain 30 minutes after school. The start and end times will vary according to grade level. The District reserves the option to award multiple contracts for certified and non-certified staff. Legal requirements (paid time off, etc....) are the responsibility of the awarded vendor/s and will not be billed to the district. The District reserves the right to hire staff without penalty after a maximum of 60 days The rate shall be all inclusive of any overhead (sick pay, Vacation pay). The awarded vendor shall be 100% responsible for fees associated with the Affordable Care Act. All items in scope shall be incorporated into the contract language. Any deviation of the scope must be identified in a separate section.
