DESIGN BUILD PROJECT FOR LAKE AVE/CHERRY STREET STREETSCAPE PROJECT

General work description: This Request for Qualification Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is designed to contract with one Design-Build organization for the design and construction of stormwater improvements, roads, sidewalks, and walkways along Lake Avenue and Cherry Street, as well as street lighting, and additional improvements identified (the “Lake Ave/Cherry Street Streetscape Project” or “Project”). This will help facilitate social distancing in the City’s public parks and other open spaces. A portion of the Project is grant-funded through the CDBG-CV Program; however, the project's scope exceeds that described in the CDBG-CV grant agreement. All upgrades and modifications covered by CDBG funding are within the boundaries of the City of Groveland, benefiting all residents. The project service area is comprised of greater than 51% of persons who are low- to moderate income, thus meeting the National Objective by primarily benefiting low-to-moderate-income individuals for Commercial Revitalization.
